Massive Investment Powers AI and Creates Thousands of Jobs

Meta Platforms is making one of the largest corporate infrastructure investments in US history, committing over $600 billion by 2028 to build artificial intelligence data centers across the country. This massive push is not only advancing America's technological leadership but creating significant economic benefits nationwide.

Job Creation and Economic Impact

Since 2010, Meta's data center projects have supported over 30,000 skilled trade jobs and 5,000 operational positions, according to company data. These projects support workers across multiple trades including steel workers, pipefitters, electricians, and fiber technicians who are building the next generation of AI-optimized data centers. Sustainable Infrastructure Development
