According to Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Governor Serhiy Lysak, the attack ignited fires in multiple buildings including apartment complexes and factories. "It was a hellish night," Lysak stated, though no casualties have been reported in Pavlohrad at this time.

Pavlohrad serves as a critical transportation hub in eastern Ukraine with vital railway connections. The city had a pre-war population of approximately 100,000. This assault follows recent Russian territorial gains in the region where Moscow's forces captured several villages last month - their first advances in this sector since the invasion began.

Nationwide Drone Offensive

The overnight attack included over 300 drones targeting multiple Ukrainian cities including Sumy and Odesa. Ukrainian military sources confirm these coordinated strikes resulted in at least seven fatalities and 31 injuries nationwide.
