While China and the UK have managed to secure trade deals with the United States, Europe has yet to exchange a word with Washington. European trade ministers are discussing this today, as the American import tariffs are causing significant discomfort in Europe. 'They want to know from the Commission where we stand, and where the Commission stands,' says European correspondent Michal van der Toorn.
