President Trump has revived the travel bans from his first term. Starting next Monday, residents from twelve countries will no longer be allowed to enter the US. The list primarily includes countries in Africa and the Middle East, as well as Myanmar and Haiti. Trump warned that the list could be adjusted based on "new threats" globally.

Additionally, nine other countries face strict travel restrictions, including Cuba, Venezuela, and Sierra Leone. Trump stated, "I must act to protect the national security and interests of the US and its people."

The announcement comes after a recent attack in Boulder, Colorado, where twelve people were injured. The suspect, of Egyptian origin, allegedly targeted a pro-Israeli group. Trump linked the attack to the dangers posed by certain foreigners in the US.
