The US government is on the verge of accepting a super-luxurious Boeing 747-8 jumbo jet from Qatar's royal family as a gift for President Donald Trump. According to ABC News, the aircraft will serve as the new Air Force One until the end of Trump's term, after which ownership will transfer to the Trump Presidential Library Foundation.

White House lawyers argue that the arrangement does not violate the Constitution, which prohibits US officials from accepting gifts from foreign states or royalty. The plane, described as a 'flying palace' due to its opulent interiors, was inspected by Trump in February when it was parked at West Palm Beach airport.
