Over the past year, North Korea has supplied millions of weapons and ammunition to Russia, in addition to military personnel. This is revealed in a new report by the Multilateral Sanctions Monitoring Team (MSMT), which monitors sanctions against North Korea. The report provides new details on the scale of North Korea's support for Russia in the war in Ukraine.

According to the report, Pyongyang has sent over 20,000 containers of weapons to Russia since it began arms deliveries in September 2023. These containers contained rocket launchers, armored vehicles, artillery, and millions of rounds of ammunition such as bullets and shells.

At least one hundred North Korean ballistic missiles have been used to destroy Ukrainian civilian infrastructure in populated areas, the report states. "This unlawful cooperation between North Korea and Russia has contributed to Moscow's ability to escalate missile attacks on Ukrainian cities," it reads.
