President Trump has warned of imposing sanctions on countries purchasing Russian oil and gas should Russia fail to meet the ceasefire deadline. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov responded by stating Russia would continue its "special military operation" while remaining "committed to the peace process."
