While unlikely to make landfall, the storm will bring severe weather to the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Bahamas, and Turks and Caicos. High waves are expected to reach the US East Coast early next week. This marks Erin as the strongest storm of the 2025 Atlantic hurricane season, fueled by unusually warm ocean temperatures.
