Disney is set to open its first theme park in the Middle East, located in Abu Dhabi on Yas Island. This marks the company's first entirely new park since Shanghai Disneyland. Yas Island already hosts major attractions like Ferrari World and Warner Bros. World, with Disney now joining the lineup.

The design process will take about two years, followed by five to six years of construction. Josh D’Amaro, overseeing Disney's parks, calls it the most advanced Disney park ever. Funding comes largely from local developer Miral Group. Disney also plans expansions in Paris, including a World of Frozen land and a Lion King themed area.
