The conflict between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) has devastated the country, leading to widespread famine, collapsed healthcare systems, and mass displacement.
Humanitarian Impact
The war has created the world's largest and fastest displacement crisis, with millions fleeing to neighboring countries like Chad and South Sudan. Famine conditions have been declared in parts of North Darfur, with over 635,000 people facing starvation. The healthcare system is on the brink of collapse, with 80% of hospitals in conflict zones non-operational.
International Involvement
Global organizations, including the UN and IRC, are working tirelessly to provide aid, but access remains severely restricted due to bureaucratic hurdles and ongoing violence.
