Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. has announced the global launch of the 32-inch Color E-Paper (model EM32DX), expanding its portfolio of energy-efficient digital signage solutions. This latest model features advanced digital ink technology, offering ultra-low energy consumption, high visibility, and a lightweight design, making it an eco-friendly and flexible display for businesses.

"Samsung aims to push the boundaries of screen innovation with solutions that enhance engagement while reducing energy consumption," said Hoon Chung, Executive Vice President of Visual Display (VD) Business at Samsung Electronics. "Samsung's Color E-Paper provides businesses with highly efficient, customizable signage solutions that combine energy efficiency and performance."

The display operates with QHD resolution (2,560 x 1,440) and uses Samsung's advanced color imaging algorithm to optimize color accuracy and readability. This optimization smooths image edges and creates more vibrant colors for a striking display resembling traditional paper posters and retail promotional stands.

Weighing just 2.5 kg and measuring 17.9 mm thick, the screen features a slim design that can be mounted on walls, tables, or ceilings using included accessories. With two USB-C ports, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth connectivity, and 8 GB of internal storage, the screen offers seamless integration for businesses to manage content easily.

The dedicated Samsung E-Paper app, available on Android and iOS devices, allows users to create content, schedule display times, and manage content on Color E-Paper devices. The Samsung VXT platform, which enables remote control and intuitive content management, is now compatible with Color E-Paper, streamlining centralized device management.

Samsung has reaffirmed its position as the world's largest producer of digital signage, holding the top spot for the 16th consecutive year since 2009. In 2024, Samsung achieved a record market share of 34.6% in global digital signage sales by volume.
