Talks between Russian and Ukrainian delegations in Istanbul regarding a ceasefire have ended. No agreements on a truce were made in Turkey. Today's meeting lasted just over an hour.

The chief of staff of President Zelensky stated that the Ukrainian delegation handed over a list of children abducted to Russia. Additionally, another prisoner exchange was agreed upon, though the exact number remains unclear. Wounded and young soldiers are prioritized in the exchange. The repatriation of 6,000 fallen soldiers is also part of the agreement.

Ukraine raised three key points: an unconditional ceasefire, the return of prisoners, and the return of children abducted by Russia from occupied Ukrainian territories. Russia rejected an unconditional ceasefire.

The Russian delegation submitted a memo outlining their conditions for a truce. The meeting was led by Ukrainian Defense Minister Oemerov, while Russia was represented by Putin's top advisor Medinski. Turkish Foreign Minister Fidan facilitated the discussions.

Turkish President Erdogan expressed hope for a future meeting between Zelensky and Putin in Turkey, possibly with US President Trump present. A follow-up meeting is proposed before the end of the month.
