The resolution states unequivocally that "Israel's policies and actions satisfy the legal definition of genocide" under the 1948 UN Genocide Convention.

The scholars point to multiple factors supporting their conclusion, including deliberate attacks on civilians and children, systematic starvation tactics, denial of humanitarian aid and essential supplies, sexual violence, and forced displacement of the Palestinian population.
