Frenchman kills Tunisian neighbor in racially motivated crime

In the southern French town of Puget-sur-Argens, a 35-year-old Tunisian man was shot dead by his neighbor on Saturday. The identity of the victim has not yet been disclosed.

The case is being treated as a racially motivated crime, as the 53-year-old suspect posted racist and hateful videos on social media before and after the incident, according to the French Public Prosecutor's Office.

A 25-year-old Turkish man was also injured in the hand during the incident and was taken to the hospital in Fréjus. The suspect was arrested shortly after the incident when his partner alerted the police. Authorities found an automatic pistol and a hunting rifle in the suspect's car.
