Car drives into celebrating football fans in Liverpool, man arrested

In the English city of Liverpool, a car drove into a crowd of celebrating football fans. Footage shows several people being hit by the car before it came to a stop.

A suspect, a 53-year-old man, has been arrested. Police explicitly stated that he is a "white British man from the Liverpool area."

The incident occurred during a celebration for Liverpool's Premier League title win. The extent of injuries is still unclear, but at least three people were reportedly taken to the hospital.
