Polls still predict a neck-and-neck race in Polish presidential elections

The second round of the Polish presidential elections on Sunday raises the question of whether Poland will maintain its course towards the EU or become a stumbling block for Brussels. The elections are heading into the second round, with polls predicting a tight race between the pro-European mayor of Warsaw, Rafal Trzaskowski, and the nationalist Karol Nawrocki, the candidate from the opposition party PiS. 'Trzaskowski secured 31.1% of the votes in the first round, while Nawrocki—an outspoken fan of US President Donald Trump—got 29.1%'.
