Israel blocks an aid flotilla with Greta Thunberg, citing security concerns, while violence near Gaza aid sites escalates.

Israel's Defence Minister Israel Katz has ordered the military to prevent an aid flotilla, carrying climate activist Greta Thunberg and other activists, from reaching Gaza. The boat, operated by the Freedom Flotilla Coalition, aims to deliver humanitarian aid and challenge the Israeli blockade. Katz accused Thunberg and the activists of supporting Hamas propaganda.
The flotilla includes nationals from several countries, and French MEP Rima Hassan reported that over 200 European lawmakers have called for Israel to allow the aid to pass. Meanwhile, in Gaza, Israeli attacks near aid distribution sites have resulted in multiple casualties.
