Believ, a leading Electric Vehicle (EV) charge point operator, has secured a £300 million investment to install 30,000 public EV charge points across the UK. The funding, led by Liberty Global and Zouk Capital alongside major banks, aims to accelerate the transition to electric vehicles by addressing the current shortage of charging infrastructure.

The investment will focus on on-street residential locations, rapid charging hubs, and underserved rural areas, ensuring equitable access to EV charging. Believ's partnerships with local authorities and private sector organizations will play a key role in deploying this infrastructure.

Government targets aim for 300,000 public charge points by 2030, and this funding marks a significant step toward achieving that goal. The initiative is expected to improve air quality and reduce carbon emissions by encouraging EV adoption.
