Meta has announced a 20-year corporate nuclear energy agreement with Constellation Energy to support its operations in southern Illinois. The partnership will preserve over 1,100 local jobs and contribute $13.5 million annually in tax revenue. The agreement also includes exploring further nuclear development at the Clinton Clean Energy Center.
Additionally, Meta is advancing its nuclear request for proposals (RFP) process, targeting 1-4 gigawatts of nuclear energy projects across multiple U.S. states. This initiative aims to ensure reliable energy for future data centers powering AI innovations.
