Rising Star's Concert Dates Axed Amid Investigation
American singer D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, has had his entire world tour cancelled following the grim discovery of a deceased teenager in the trunk of a car registered to his name. The 20-year-old artist was scheduled to perform in Amsterdam's Paradiso and Melkweg venues on October 9-10, but both shows have been abruptly cancelled along with remaining US dates.
Tragic Discovery in Los Angeles
Los Angeles police made the shocking discovery when they responded to reports of a foul odor coming from a vehicle at an impound lot. Inside the trunk, they found the body of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas, who had been reported missing since last year. According to the coroner's report, the body was in an 'advanced state of decomposition' when discovered.
The vehicle, registered to Burke, had been impounded and was being stored at a towing company's depot. Police spokesperson Detective Maria Rodriguez stated, 'Multiple individuals had access to this vehicle, and we're investigating all possibilities. No arrests have been made at this time.'
