The Model 2 is Tesla's long-awaited entry-level model and is expected to debut in the first half of 2025. Elon Musk confirmed this during a recent financial results presentation.

The Model 2 resembles a scaled-down Model Y, measuring around 4.4 meters in length. It will feature the same sleek headlights as the refreshed Model 3.

The car will be built on a new platform but produced on existing Tesla production lines. While this approach doesn't maximize cost savings, it allows Tesla to grow sales efficiently.

Priced around $30,000 in the US, the Model 2 will be Tesla's most affordable offering. Musk remains optimistic about Tesla's growth, aiming for over 100 million vehicles on the road by 2030.
