UN Launches Comprehensive Youth Peacebuilding Program
The United Nations has unveiled a groundbreaking global initiative aimed at reducing violence and promoting sustainable peace through youth education and employment programs. In regions like Africa where youth constitute 60% of the population and face unemployment rates as high as 30.6% in North Africa, these employment initiatives are particularly crucial.

The program will be rolled out in phases, starting with pilot projects in 15 countries across Africa, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. The UN is committing significant resources, with an initial funding allocation of $500 million for the first three years.
