Trump on Russian Air Strikes: 'Putin Has Gone Completely Mad!'

US President Trump has strongly condemned the large-scale Russian air strikes on Ukraine this weekend, which killed at least twelve people. On Truth Social, Trump wrote that Putin has 'gone completely mad.' 'I always had a very good relationship with Vladimir Putin of Russia, but something has happened to him. He has gone COMPLETELY MAD!' Trump added that Putin is 'killing unnecessarily many people' and pointed out that 'missiles and drones are being fired at cities in Ukraine for no reason.'

Trump also warned Putin about the consequences of his actions, stating, 'I always said he wants ALL of Ukraine, not just a piece of it, and maybe that’s true, but if he does, it will lead to the downfall of Russia!'

The remarks come after what is seen as the largest air attack on Ukraine since the Russian invasion in February 2022. Ukraine reported that Russia launched 298 drones and 69 missiles, killing at least twelve and injuring dozens.
