China has labeled the accusation by former U.S. President Donald Trump that Beijing violated a trade agreement as 'unfounded'. The agreement was reached last month during trade negotiations in Geneva. The statement from China's Ministry of Commerce was in response to Trump's claims made on Friday.
The ministry asserted that China has implemented and actively upheld the agreement, while the U.S. has introduced multiple 'discriminatory and restrictive' measures against China. These measures include export controls on AI chips, halting the sale of chip design software to China, and revoking visas for Chinese students.
